In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Build Online AI LLC. "You" means the clinic or business using EditButler.
What EditButler does
EditButler helps healthcare clinics create and publish short educational videos. You get a script, record yourself reading it on your phone, and we automatically edit the result into a finished video. If you choose to connect your accounts, we can also publish that video to your social profiles and your Google Business Profile on your behalf.
What we collect
Account information. Your name, email address, clinic name, location, phone number, booking link, and the profession or services you offer.
Your website's public content. When you sign up, we read your clinic's public website to learn what services you offer, so the scripts we suggest fit your practice. We only read pages that are publicly available to anyone.
Content you create. Scripts, video recordings, finished videos, captions, and the text we generate for your posts.
Usage information. Which videos you made, when, what you published, and basic server logs including your IP address.
Push notifications. If you turn them on, we store your device's push subscription and send short notices (for example, "your video is ready") through your browser vendor's push service, which is Google, Apple, or Mozilla depending on your browser.
Google account data, if you connect your Google Business Profile. This is described in its own section below.
Social account connections, if you connect them. The connection itself is held by our posting provider, not by us. See "Who we share with".
We do not ask for, want, or knowingly store patient records or patient health information. EditButler is a marketing tool. Please do not put patient information into a script.
Google user data
Signing in with Google. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and whether it is verified, so we can match you to your clinic account. We do not receive your password. This gives us no access to your Gmail, Drive, Photos, or anything else in your Google account.
Your Google Business Profile. This part applies only when you choose to connect it. Connecting grants us the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage permission. This section describes exactly what we do with it.
What we access.
- Your Business Profile's basic information (business name, address, website, categories, and the locations you manage), so posts go to the right location.
- Your Business Profile's posts and media, so we can publish on your behalf.
- Your Business Profile's performance metrics (impressions, website clicks, call clicks, direction requests), so we can show you how your profile is doing.
What we do with it.
- Publish educational Update posts you have reviewed, with an image, a caption, and a booking button that links to your own booking page.
- Add your own videos to your profile's photo and video gallery.
- Show you your profile's performance inside EditButler.
What we store. When you connect, we store a Google refresh token so we can post on your behalf without you being present. We store your location identifiers and the posts we have published for you. We store performance metrics we have retrieved so we can show you trends over time.
What we do NOT do.
- We do not sell your Google data, and we never will.
- We do not use your Google data for advertising.
- We do not use your Google data to train machine learning or AI models.
- We do not share your Google data with anyone else, except as needed to provide the service to you or where the law requires it.
- Beyond confirming who you are at sign-in, we do not read or touch any Google data outside your Business Profile. These permissions give us no access to your Gmail, Drive, Photos, or anything else.
Limited Use. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access. You can disconnect at any time, either inside EditButler or from your own Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect, we stop posting and delete the stored token.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: write scripts, edit your videos, and publish your posts.
- To show you your own results.
- To contact you about your account, including reminders that a script is ready.
- To keep the service secure and working.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share with
We use a small number of service providers to run EditButler. They only receive what they need to do their job.

Our service providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Please note: it is not only text. Your script text, your video transcripts, and the video recording itself are sent to the AI providers listed above so the AI can write for you and plan your edit. This is core to how EditButler works, and it is why we ask you not to put patient information into a script or into a recording.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the United States. Our servers are in New York and our backups are in a US data centre. Build Online AI LLC is a US company.
If you are in Canada, this means your information is stored outside Canada, and it may be accessible to US courts, law enforcement, and government authorities under US law. We tell you this plainly because Canadian privacy law requires it and because you deserve to know where your business's data lives.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your content from our active systems within 90 days, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation. Copies in our encrypted backups cycle out automatically within 6 months.
Google refresh tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect your Business Profile.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by writing to buildonlineai@gmail.com.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to buildonlineai@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in Canada, Canadian federal privacy law (PIPEDA) applies to how we handle your information. You have the right to access your information and to challenge how we handle it. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
If you are in the United States, your rights depend on your state. Some states give you additional rights over your personal information. Write to us and we will honour what applies to you.
Security
We use encrypted connections, we keep credentials out of our code, and access to the server is limited to key holders. No service can promise perfect security, but we take it seriously and we do not store what we do not need.
Children
EditButler is a business tool. It is not for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, if the change is significant, tell you by email.
